Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2 I/O starting problems

I recently was re-powered with a new Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2 I/O 135hp engine, it runs great once I get it to start. I put in neutral, turn the key to start but nothing. I look at the gauges and it seems I have no power at all. If I keep turning the key from on to start eventually my gauges indicate power and the engine turns over. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Get a Test Light,+ follow the Power...............

I'd probably start Looking at the Key Switch.........
