After coming up to plane, the engine lost it's thrust. It almost seemed like the we lost the prop, but not the case. It will pull the boat strong in reverse still, but now will not push the boat more than idle. We checked to see if the prop was loose, but again, not the case. When you rev the engine in fwd, it just will not deliver the power to the prop. Any help or possible suggestions in trouble shooting this would be greatly appreciated!

Mark the prop and the hub with a line and see if your hub is spun. That is what it sounds like. Try another prop.

I would also check to make that your shifter cable is operational .
