Does anyone know what the spark plug gap should be for a 1974 Johnson 85 outboard, electric ignition?

Thanks

My clymer manual says .040 for a 75, and has a dashed line for a 74, indicating a non-adjustable gap plug (UL77V). You sure you have the right plugs in the engine?

L77JC4 plugs gapped to .030. If you do a lot of trolling or slow speed operation, increase the gap to .040
