Anyone own one of these or know someone that does? Wife and I are considering a new one.. Love the lines of the boat and the Regal quality.. Just wondering if it's too small.. Dealer does NOT have one for us to look at...

Nobody likes the 2250 cuddy? I think it's a beautiful boat!

I agree, it's got great lines, but I have never been in one. I imagine it would serve two people perfectly for a weekend. Our 2550 serves 4 people well for a weekend.

We have friends that spend many weekends aboard a 99 2150 and are pleased. We alos have friends that spend many weekends in a Sea Ray 215; with no complaints. I think you'll have a blast.

I have to say, the 2250/2200 are the finest looking boats in that size range. They really stand out on the water and photos do not do them justice. I saw many of them being built at the factory in Orlando and if you order one, you'll be hard pressed to beat navy blue with a yellow boot stripe. Stunning.

Good luck

That's it!.. My wife wants a larger boat (25-28' range) and most I see look like pregnant guppies.. The Regal 2250 cuddy looks like a BOAT.. it's not fat or long.. It reminds me of a sports car... I really don't want to drive around in some big honking sport cruiser, much less tow one...

My 2550 is lower and sleeker than most too. That was a huge factor for me as well. I do not care for the look of most pocket cruisers for the same reasons you don't...

Mine (picture was taken from a 2150):

Very nice!.... I realize a larger boat that you can stand up in below deck MUST be taller but the typical sport cruisers look awful ugly to me.. I just can't get used to the lines.. Bayliners look awful and so do Rinkers (at least to me).. I like the Regal quality and looks and your 2550 certainly doesn't reek of "pregnant guppy".. I'm afraid to look and see what the retail price is on a 2550 though.. edit: what year is your 2550? I don't see it in the Regal lineup.. figures!

Mine's a 2000. I think 2001 was the last year and it was replaced in the lineup with the 2650. That's gone too... They no longer make a 4 berth cuddy cabin boat.

Oddly, of all the pocket cruisers with pregnant guppy looks, Regal's 2465 may be the most pregnant, IMO.
