Hi I have a 2006 OptiMax that has an alarm coming on as soon as you turn the key on and keeps staying on. The initial problem is I did something silly. The motor wouldn't go finally I worked out the cut out lanyard switch was off, flicked it on and the motor fired into life but with this buzzer still going. I checked the oil and topped it up as it was a little on the low side. I still have this problem of the buzzer.and the smart craft guages saying engine alarm/faulut check engine. Is there a way of resetting the system as I think the fault developed when the lanyard was activated..

With the key off for several seconds, that's the only reset available to you. I assume it's still under warranty. Take advantage.
