Sorry it's kiekhaefer

plugs won't spark. I've tried new plugs, checked the wires, disconected the kill switch, I'm getting juice down the wire ( it bites hard ) but it doesn't spark the plug. fuel is O.K. it wouldn't fire on eather, mags are clean. would the capacitors cause this. what is the chance both caps would go bad over winter. any help please. sr# 2389264 I also need the point gap and plug gap and recomended plugs if anyone knows. I just bought the same plugs that were in it but, I bought the engine used 6 yrs ago and thought maybe the previous owner may have had the wrong plugs in it. the thing has always started and ran very well till I stored it in an unheated shed this past winter.

Pt. gap--.020, plugs--L76V plugs some people use L77J4C one of the most common problems with those engines is the insulator blocks on the pts crack and kill the ignition
