I just picked up a '86 Olympic hard top with a '95 150hp Ocean Runner outboard on it. Took it out for first spin today. Few issues I need info on:
1. Looks like alternator doesn't work. Not charging battery. Checked while running about 1/2 throttle, 12.5v reading with multimeter.
2. Motor rough starting. Had to remove spark plugs, dry them, put them back in, then it still took a while to get the motor going.
3. Middle cylinders on drivers side has about 10 psi lower compression than the other five cylinders.
4. Same cylinder (in #3), when I was fresh water flushing the motor at home, I could touch all spark plug wires with out getting shocked, but the wire from the same cylinder as #3 (and #4) shocked me when I touched it.
Any suggestions/tips/etc greatly appreciated.
