I'm sure you're all aware that Al Gore III was detained after a high speed chase where the Prius he was driving was clocked at over 100mph. The cop noted the smell of Marijuana and found prescription drugs that weren't prescribed to him along with pot and paraphanalia. So needless to say, he's in Deep Sh**!

So I was in for a few suprises with this story...
I had no idea a hybrid could go so fast.
I had no idea Al Gore had kids. I pictured them as a childless couple for some reason. They have four.

Well, at least he was making a small carbon footprint in this youthful indiscretion.
It can't hurt Dad's Presidential aspirations because he has none anymore.
Nobody was hurt, thank goodness.
Apparently he is getting help now.

So before you Neocons start making hay about this...
What does Rush Limbaugh drive?
You do realize Billy Graham's son was a rebelling drug abuser at that age, right?

And this is his second arrest for drugs. Seems the drug counseling didn't work after the first arrest.

He shoulda learned from Daddy. One drubbing at the polls was apparently enough to keep him from electoral recidivism. The same dicipline shoulda been applied by Jr.:p:D

Kids do stupid things. This one has a habit of it. I am not willing to throw this on Algore. The guy is a bozo, but that doesn't mean that his kids actions are a reflection of him and Tipper. And this "Youth" is an adult by any measure.

Sounds like another liberal out of control. Off to some hospital for "therapy". I hope he gets his head straight. He could have killed someone. I guess I will have to wait for all the liberals to start screaming about how much jail time he should do, as it is directly on point with what they accused Rush of doing. How about 30 months? Typical left wing double standard, exemplified in their on-going politics of personal distruction campaign. See Blu's post.

good God, these were illegal drugs for the boy. and 100 mph kills innocent people that the boy could have run into.

I too thought AlGore childless, can't imagine that guy gettin' busy on the work bench w/ Tipper :eek:

"Youthful indiscression" is how liberals manipulate the language to discribe their illegal activities. I would discribe youthful indiscression as smoking pot at a frat party. Not a repeat offender smoking pot, with illegal perscription drugs, driving 100mph to evade cops, in a prius at, I think, age 24. To use that term would make Algore and Tipper somewhat responsible as parents are responsible for their youths, not their adult children.

Just keep polishing that turd. The good news is tommorrow they can claim this is old news.

This reminds me of the Kennedy drunk driving story about a year ago. No conservatives start an attack thread or any thread about it for that matter. Then, consistant with the Bill and Hillary playbook, it gets floated and mitigated. See, its Jeanna Bush's fault. Or Rush Limbaugh. Liberals, you got to admire their tenacity to the playbook.

This is a whole lot about nothing, so what if he got caught doing 100 in a Prieus, everybody that didn?t something dumb in your twenties hold your right hand up, thought so. If anybody didn?t hold a hand up, all I can say is you surely had a protected, miserable, childhood and possibly that explains some of the suppressed anger coming out now.

If you want to get into a witch-hunt on, which political parties have the dumbest children we can do that, here is a good starting point as well as Al Gore the third.

You definitely don?t want the picture of one of the twins changing into her swimming suit on a public beach do you? Wonder if she could have passed a sobriety test when she did that?

BTW, my hand is up! Never went 100 mph being chased by cops, high on weed, while carrying prescription drugs I wasn't suppose to have for at least the second time. In fact, I never drove 5mph high on weed. However you are right, I did get naked on a beach a few times. And unlike a Kennedy, I didn't have to force anyone to do it with me.;)

It is a whole lot about something. Just not the fact he is related to some whack job left wing liberal/socialist/communist. That link to me is a non starter. The fact he is dangerous to society while working for "Good" magazine is interesting and should be some concern to anyone who lives anywhere around this idiot. Hey, Tree, this isn't this idiots first time at this. Try reading up on the story.

Now rail on about Bush even though I saw nothing about him or his family in this story. :)
