Happy Independence Day you all!

Well, I'm sitting here listening to what sounds like my neighborhood being shelled, and thinking how completely satisfied I am with my finished Avenger project. So far the boat is everything I hoped it would be; it is fast (55 mph + or - a mile an hour or two w/ '87 Merc. I6 115), it handles really well, throws a nothing wake for slalom skiing, but throws a nasty hump at just above displacement speed for wakeboarding. It is stylish, cool, and retro. I just couldn't be happier so far. Just thought I'd let you all know. Thanks to all who followed my project in the boat resto. forum and commented, and gave advice.
Happy boating!

Very nice looking boat. I looked at all 71 pictures and was amazed. All of the hard work makes it all the more yours. Congrats.
