93 115 High RPM Low Speed

I have a 1993 115 Merc that has run beautifully with stock prop. Now when I accelerate the RPM's come up normally but the prop speed is very slow as the boat just barely gets on plane. At 5000 RPM it is under 20 mph. This happened some time ago then ran normally, yesterday it did it again, I limped back to the dock.

Any Ideas?

Change the Prop,+ Try it Again.........

It sounds like the Hub in your's is Shot.........
