Hi all, I have a 1975 85 HP Mercury on an Starcraft A15. I found a tilt motor on the boat and the up and down control buttons however, I can't find a hydraulic lift and when I push the up/down buttons nothing happens. Does this motor come with built in hydraulics? where would it be and what does it look like?? Thanks alot..

I'd suggest getting the manual..it's always well worth it even if it only keeps you out of the shop once.

That motor would have trim cylinders just outboard of the transom clamp bracket. Four hosess would have run from the pump to the cylinders.
