Help...3.0 L leaking

on the right side of the engine, just behind the alternator on my 3.0L Merc, i have water leaking from the little round disk...what is it? whats the fix?

It's a core plug. You need to get a new one (Brass) and replace it.

Thanks Don

Thats what I thought, but how does it come out? It's only an inch across with a raised ridge (not a slot like for a flat bladed screwdriver) thats not enough to really twist it out. Before I go prying on something....I like to know the ramifications...lol
