Default 2001 Bayliner 160 Capri Pylon

I'm looking to put a wake board / ski pylon on my boat. I don't know if I should use a through the deck or tripod. Any suggestions about which style and which one to use will be appreciated.

Boat is a 2001 Bayliner Capri 160

the struts for a tripod pylon take up boat space ,which at 16' you do not have much to spare

I would look into a tower. They give you more height, more storage if you get the board racks and they are more stable and less likely to fail. Save your money and look at www.monstertower.com. You will not be dissappointed.

Even the tripods need to be bolted through the deck...
