After cracking up the boat last summer, and sitting on a broken boat all winter and spring, next week I will have three or four days in a row to finally do the replacement, and I think I have all the parts finally as well.
Are there any tricks or tidbits about this job that I won't see in the shop manual? Should I use any sealer with the cork gasket on the transom? Any sage advice anyone has to offer?
I am hoping to have the boat seaworthy again by late July, with new seats and gas tanks as well as the replaced outdrive.
Thanks!
