Noticed today on my 2002 EFI 200hp engine charred wires inside from the alternator all the way around engine bloc. The engine still runs. I believe this happened the last time out. Never notice any smell from the coupling at all.
How hard is it to replace the wiring? Not sure if the alt is gone smelled a little but not much.
What would you all's recommendation? Any help or if you had this problem before let me so I can be prepared to shell out thecash to get it fixed.
