I have a 1988 60hp evinrude. The problem that I'm having is, I'm not getting the right mixture of oil to gas. I have a tank that holds the oil and is pumped to the gas and is mixed. What I am finding out is, the motor would run great until the oil overtakes the crab's and kill's the motor. I then would blow out all the oil, restart and it would run fine for 2 to 3 min. before the oil over take the gas and floods the crab's. My question is, is there anyway of controling the amount of oil that is being pumped from that tank to the carb's to get the right oil and gas mixture. I looked everywhere, and I can't fine any type of adjustments.
