Force 125 Choke Blowing Fuses

My Force 125 is blowing fuses when activated. Checked all wiring and saw nothing. Does this mean a new choke? Or maybe a heavier fuse (15amp)?
What could cause this?
I choked by hand yesterday and went on with no problems.

How can I check and see if the choke solonoid is bad?

Use an ohm meter on the side of the solenoid and the terminal with the green wire disconnected. If you have zero ohms, the coil is shorted. I do not know what the actual specifications for resistance are. If you have an enrichment valve, Find the ground and power terminal and do the same.

Checked this and found 0 ohms. Please give me a crash course on proper way to use ohm meter for stuff like this.

Thanks

Re: Force 125 Choke Blowing Fuses

So far no crash course. But I did connect a separate power supply to the choke and it's working. It closes choke flaps fine. Tried choke by ignition switch and again blown fuse. The resistance is 0 on meter (if i'm using it correctly). What setting should I use on the meter? 200, 20K, 200K? Could this be some problem in ignition switch?
Any help apperciated. Any help understanding multimeter apperciated.

Installed a 15 amp fuse and bingo! Not blowing fuses anymore.
Now, anyone know the proper amp fuse that should be installed?
