impeller or kit for 57 gale 25hp

I'm deciding between a kit to replace the impeller for $54, or just the impeller for $15. What is the advantage of the kit over just the impeller? This motor has been sitting in a garage for 24yrs. Starts perfectly and runs smooth.

If the housing is sand scarred, pitted, or in generally poor condition I would replace the whole thing. Actually I would replace the whole thing regardless, but that's me.

As much as it's easier to buy the parts first, the only way to make sure is as Whitehouse says, is to actually remove the old one and check it out. If worn or pitted replace it all. It shiny and smooth, get the impeller only.
