hi guys,
I'm new here, so please excuse me if this has been answered before (I didn't see it).
I have a 92 Evinrude Intruder 175 that has some problems.....I can start it sometimes with no problems and it runs fine, but other times it will start and run just enough to get on plane then dies and yet there are time when it will not start at all. I don't know very much about outboards so I'm hoping somebody can give me a place to start my search to find the problem.
It is kind of hit-and-miss on the way it runs. There seems to be no pattern on when it runs and when it won't.
I would really appreciate any information and I thank you all in advance.
