69 I/O mercruiser runs but wont move

I just bought a 69 Larson w/ a I/O mercruser runs real good but trim does not work and when i put it in the water RPM's are up but it does not go in either direction..... any help would be appreciated thanks ~mike

you have three options

1) sell the boat as is and get out now, buy something else that actually works

2) you have alot of free time on your hands and enjoying owning a boat that spends more time on the trailer being fixed than being used

3) your super rich and enjoying putting money into something that is worth almost nothing to make it something, and then some more money just for good measure

so is yer question about yer trim not working. or
yer rpms being up and 'it' (boat or trim?) not going in either direction?

might as well let everyone know what kinda mercriser it is too....
