Hello I'm new to this forum
Ihave this nissan9.9 that I use as auxiliary power on a small sailboat.
I have these 2 separate problems.
1. One of the 4 bolts holding the 'foot' of the motor has seized, so I can't replace the impeller.(impeller is still working well for now)
2. It starts ok, at idling speed works soothly up to 1/3 of the trottle but stalls in mid-trottle. At full trottle, it works but very erratically.
This problem arised suddenly, tried new sparkplugs and fuel oil mixture is ok.

Any advice please?
thanks

Application of heat to the area surrounding the bolt and have your carburetor cleaned.

Re: nissan9.9 two stroke problems

Thanks for the advice.
I was also thinking of adding an extra fuel filter across the line from the tank to the motor.
Is this a good idea, or it would affect the flow of the fuel?
