I have a 1964 Johnson Super Seahorse 40hp, I removed the throttle cable, anyone know which one to buy to replace it? Should I be aware of anything when i hook it back up it is approximately 12ft. The pictures of the replacements dont look like what i have. Thanks greatly

It takes the OMC "Long Life" cables, or Teleflex 400 Series. They should have the Teleflex right here at iboats. They are measured from end of the brass tube to end of brass tube (don't include the wire sticking out).

I agree the 4oo seriese is the wrong cable you need the cc170 which you can get on Ebay I have a 63 Johnson and you need the threaded adjusters on the cable
