Sealing chips in hull?

I have a 16' bay skiff (flat bottom). It has a couple of chips on the bottom of the boat where the fiberglass is showing. Can water leak through there? Can I use Goop Coat It to fix these?

Thanks,

Mike

How big of an area can I use it on? The couple of spots I need to fix are no bigger than a quarter.

They have a couple of different kinds. What would be the best?

Thanks

The epoxy puddy will work perfect for quarter size chips.

Use the white - the gray is for metal repairs.

Make sure it is ABSOLUTELY DRY when you apply a repair. Marinetex is great stuff and if you place a piece if 2" wide clear plastic tape over the repair when it is wet it will dry slower but absolutely smooth.... no sanding afterwards. Once dry you can peel the tape. The tape will also stop the maretex from sagging out of the repair.
