Considering a Regulator

I'm considering purchasing a 2003 23' Regulator Classic loaded with many options. I've looked at them at boat shows and like the layout and hull design but had rather not buy new. I have not fished in a Regulator but hear they run well in a chop. Does anyone have experience or an opinion about the boat and does $45,000 seem reasonable?

I've never ridden in one, but there is a guy locally I see occasionally who owns one. Really sharp looking boat, there aren't many in my area but I think they are manufactured in the Carolinas and are a pretty high-end boat so the price may be about right.​

Thanks for the reply. One thing I did notice when walking around the outside of the boat is the hull seems solid from bow to stern with plenty of flair.
