I have a 1992 Mercruiser 5.7L. When the engine is cold the oil level reading is right at the FULL line on the dip stick. After running it for a few minute the reading drops about 1/3 of the way between FULL and ADD. I know its probably fine at this reading but can I add oil to bring it up to FULL at this reading? The engine does not burn oil but I'd like to know it is full when running. I just don't want to overfill it and damage something. Thanks
