Default DULL FINISH ALUMINUM BOAT

HAS ANYONE FOUND A CLEARNER TO REMOVED OXIDATION FROM ALUMUNIM HULL? I HAVE 1988 MODEL 20 FOOT BOAT WOULD LIKE TO RENEW THE ALUMINUM FINISH. ANY SUGGESTIONS. THANKS SLUGGO

SluggoFirst NO NEED TO SHOUT. Try West Marine on line catalog page 393. Look for Aluminum boat care kit I think it is what you want but also check Aluminum and pontoon cleaners or Aluminum and pontoon polish. all in online catalog page 393. http://wmarine.mobular.net/wmarine/5/5/2/index.jsp

WalMart sell this stuff for pontoons, called 3M Aluminum Restorer, used it on my Richline and it made it look like it was chrome. It is pricey though. Another good polish to us is Blue Magic, very good stuff.

Sluggo,If you're frugal, like me, I use corn starch mixed with water and a good abrasive pad that you would use to clean stainless steel pots and pans.
