Hello everyone. I am working on an engine that has been sitting for twenty years and was wondering what goes bad first, the ignition coils or the stator?
The engine is a 1976, Johnson 55hp that with two recently rebuilt carbs, new fuel pump, new plugs, thermostat, starter switch, and head gaskets. The engine does not want to idle as if it is not getting enough spark to the plugs when running low RPM's. Thanks for any help
