Has anyone experiance with Maxi marine lifters http://www.alpineboats.com/QandA.php vs trimtabs or Smart tabs? The lifters look stationary on the boat transom but are much larger than the Smart tabs . I don't know if the differant positions or length of the rams on the Smart tabs would add or detract from the performance compared to larger stationary tabs.What do you think?

they add to the performance .... these were designed for inflatable boats .... smart tabs where designed for rigid boats .....
