I have a 1988 2110 Bayliner Trophy. What should I be getting for top speed with a 4.3L omc, and a 19pich prop. Boat doesnt seem like a speed demon, but I use it for fishing. Just woundering How close I am??

40-42mph. What!! Im only getting 28-30mph with a 19 pich prop @ 4800-5000 rpm. This is a pretty good sized boat. Should I be at a high pich prop then operating rpm is 4600-4800 I think. What do you guys think??

What is your load at 5000 RPM? You might ask in the prop forum and get better results.
