I have a '96 Johnson 8hp (E8REU) that I have barely used. A friend just gave me a nice 10' Livingston that has a center console with steering wheel and an Evinrude Simplex control box with cables.
Can I get a remote steering/shift linkage kit for that engine? If so, how would I know if the cables would match up with the kit before I buy it?
