No rating plate! '91 Spectrum 1606

Hey all!
Just wondering if anyone can help me determine the ratings for the boat I just bought...1991 Spectrum 1606 16' aluminum fishing boat...I understand the rating plate is supposed to be somewhere on the rear on either side of the engine...but nothing! It has a 50hp merc and it seems under-powered for the boat and I was hoping to upgrade and increase the hp.

Please help! Thanks!

my 89 1706 didn't have one wither, they were built and sold by Brunswick, as a package boat motor trailer. 50hp was there favorite, mine had a 50hp Force. i put a Johnson 88 spl on it, it's a little overpowered. an 80 merc would be good on it.
