Default 1886 yamaha 200 Erratic RPM's 2 dead cylinders

I have 1986 Yamaha twin 200's. Right engine runs excellent at all rpm levels. Left engine however has problems. It is not firing on two cylinders. It is getting spark and we have changed the coils to verify. At idle there is no noticeable change when the plugs are removed. We did try removing the spark plug wire and when holding it a short ditance away it seemed to fire in the cylinder intermittantly. I throttled it up to 3500 rpm's and it jumped all over from 3000 to 4000 going lower as time went on. The engine noise jumped and popped with it so i am sure it is not just the tach. Again the other engine runs fine. It was in storage for about 2 years.

I have had the boat since new in 86 with my Dad and we have only used it about 20 hours per year max when we did use. Now my son is grown and I would like to use it with him. We have replaced both impellers, lubed everything, and rebuilt the carbs, however it was started nce since the carbs were rebuilt just before going into storage. Any help would be gratly appreciated.

Time to go back through the carbs. Fairly obvious fuel restriction
