sorry the pic. is so bad took it with my camra phone. we just picked it up last weekend, it's a 1998 four winns horizon QX with the little 3.0L. can't tell in the pic. but it's like new we bought it from my grandfather who barley used it, he kept it covered and in the barn unless he was useing it. the questin i have is i don't think my trim gauge is working the way it should. when i adjust the trim the RPM gauge bounces arround. is that normal? and when adjusting the trim sometimes the gauge seems to be working and sometimes not?? any help would be great!!

also what would a boat like this in great condition be worth???? just wondering if i got a good deal on it or not?....

Hey Rat, welcome to IBoats.
Generally speaking...when gauges start doing funny stuff it is a "Ground" problem. Make sure all of your gauges have a good clean ground. Don't just look at them...pull the terminal lugs off and clean them. Then check the other end where the ground source is...batt, fuse block, spice area etc...
Then go to the trim pump and do the same thing to it's grounds.
This usually works for me.
