Please help!
I have a 1987 bayliner capri and it wont stay running.
It will run for a few minutes and then die.
Let it sit fir 15 -30 min. and it will start right back up and run great for ten min.
Please someone help.

We will need more info to be able to help like what engine and drive?
What is your maintenance schedule: is it tuned up recently or not, etc.

There are lots of capable people here willing to help, hang in there.

The engine is a 2.3 l omc (ford).
I have changed the plugs, wires, points, condenser and the assist solenoid.I changed the coil with one that I knew worked.
I also have a hard time going in gear, forward and reverse.
It seems to work fine on land but under a load its not so sweet.
Please help
