Trim stuck!!!

I have a 1985 Johnson 90hp outboard....I rebuilt the trim unit over the winter, then re-installed it and it worked great! Now after sitting a few months it is stuck mid way up and wont go down....The relay is fine and the trim motor turns but it just wont go down! I even tried the manual relief screw....What should I check next?

If the manual release doesn't work, it has to be a physical obstruction. On my 150 evinrude, one of the pistons that moves the engine up/down was missing a small tip that had broken off. It would catch and not go down until I fixed it. Good luck
