Hey guys, I am new to the forums but thought this might be a good place to ask for help.
I have a 50 horse Mercury outboard serial number 5335977. I was cleaning the carbs out and one of my kids bumped the container I had all the parts in. I was able to find everything with the exception of one of the brass bolts that hold the float bowl to the bottom if the carb body. I thought this would be no big deal but,I have tried all of my local dealers, hardware stores, auto parts stores and junk yards and am finding the same answer everywhere; not available anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone have an old junk carb that would have one of these? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
