As you can see in the picture it seems that my block is drilled for both starter bolt patterns and it uses a 168 tooth flywheel.

Do you think I could use this one (Bond-o :D)? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PROC...0QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33576QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Or do you think it would be safer (fit wise) to get this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEV...emQQcategoryZ33576QQihZ017QQitemZ270122375315

Re: Starter bolt pattern

I would buy the standard style permanent magnent marine approved starter. I'm not sure if either one of those starters are CG approved.

Re: Starter bolt pattern

I pick the 1st 1...... It's a Gear Reduction Stater,...... Sealed Motor with No Sparks......

The Delco style is a Direct Drive with the high-torque motor,....... It's gotta be Sealed.......

Look at the Centerline of the Motor,........
The pinion on the 1st 1 is Off set.....
The 2nd 1 is In line........
