I was getting ready to fire up my 1988 60hp Merc. in the driveway. I attached the flush attachment and turned on the water there was a fair amount of water blowing out the sides of the rubber cups which is normal from what I have read. The problem is that there is no water coming out of the tell tale. Should I expect this or does the motor have to be running in order to pump the water through the engine and out the pisser?
