6 hp only runs at idle could this be electrical

hello i am new hear i hope someone can help me. i have a 2005 merc 6 hp outboard. the motor ran great last year, but now it won't run. I can get it started and it will run at a idle, with the throtle in the perfect place. if i give it any throtle it will die. I cleaned the carb and still no luck, thinking it was still a carb problem i bought a new one, and still the same problem. I have sprayed gas in the carb while running and it kills also took the spark plug out and put gas in cylinder it will still run the same. i also replaced the bulb no luck. the pump will pump gas. I did get it to pick up rpm just a little once or twice. also has ran at full throtle but still idle speed. could thid be a advancement problem or something electrical? any help would be great. thanks sorry for the long post.

check your compression and spark.

If you have fuel to the carb, you had better clean the carb again because the high speed circurt in the carb is still plugged some where.
