I have an Evinrude Sport twin Outboard motor with model number (I think) as 4423-08113. Is this a 3.3 HP? I thought I learned that it maybe made in 1947 to 1951, but what is the year?

I know I need a carb sediment bowl (mine was cracked).
Do you know about where I might acquire one of these?
Can you advise me..
I'd like help on the plug type and make as well,.. Might I find an online operators manual? And what is the recommended fuel mixture..
Thanks

Re: Old Evinrude Sport Twin ID - Help

Welcome to iboats and please go someplace else. ;)

I'm just kidding, but the guys at aomci.org might be a better resource for specifics. They are the Antique Outboard Motor Club and they'll have that info. One of them might even have the part you need. It's not available new anymore. There isn't much info on pre 60s motors online, but kencook.com might be able to help with a manual. You're right about the horsepower and model year range. That's about all I can offer.

I know that this is coming about 8 months too late but I just joined.

I purchased the same motor on E-Bay and found that it is indeed a 1947 - 1951 3.3 HP Evinrude Sportwin. You can find parts and rebuild kits for the motor at the link below
