it's not going to be a speed demon, but looks to be a solid boat, and i belive was built before bayliner started cutting corners, on quality. the outdrive is worth the current bid, plus the 2004 4.3 vortec. you could buy it. cut the boat up and still make money. yes it would make a good near shore fisher. get an auxillary 25hp troller/emergency.
