Hello,
I have ordered a replacement part for my trim motor - PT495NK-2
I was able to replace the motor with No issues. The old motor had a simple 3 wire connection. Blue/Green/Black(mage 1). The replacement motor has the 3 wires with an additional connection for power(image 2), (Image 3) is the connections with a larger view.
1. At the end of the day, I have the 3 connections with an addional connection for power. The instructions state that I have to hook it up the power to the starter motor feed. They have a 50 Amp fuse in line and I do not thing it will be a problem. Will the Power connection cause me any issues?
2. I am tight on real estate within the motor (img 3), where should I mount the 2 relays that they included in the kit? I stated out with 3 simple wires on the old unit, and now I have the 2 relays to deal with and the additional wires for power (with the fuse)
Any help on the location of the relays would be a huge assist.
Thanks in advance for any support on mounting the relays.
Regards
David
