Last question, I hope. There are four wires coming from (or going to) the voltage regulator on the alternator. Big orange obviously charging the battery, big black obviously to ground. But then there are two others: a purple and a blue. One goes to the key on the dash to "turn on the system" and one is a reference wire from the common hot spot to keep the regulator informed of the voltage level in the system. Which is which? Most automobile regulators use the same wire for both purposes and I am not sure why a marine system has two separate lines, but I am reluctant to just guess when it comes to molded cores. Any help with this last question would be great.....
