I have a 1956 Johnson / Evinrude 15 hp, opened up the lower end to find the pinion gear, bushing assembly is worn out. i cant find a replacement, need help finding part number:376485. i have a picture if you need one. thanks bill

Unless you have access to a full machine shop, your best bet is to find another housing as the bushing is a bear to replace. We had one done a few years ago and the guy who did it said "never again".... Did a nice job, though...

The number of 376485 has been superseded up to number 377147. Unfortunately it has been unavailable since 1982.
