Fuel Line Question

I know this is a silly question to ask, but does anyone know the size of the fuel line from the feul tank to the feul pump on a Mercruiser 175HP 4.3L engine. Choices are 3/8" or 5/8".

3/8" for feed from tank to fuel pump.
5/8" for vent line.
