Rectifier wiring help!

Hi,
I have a 1989 Johnson 150gt. I bought a new rectifier/regulator. My old one had a yellow wire and a yellow/grey wire.The new one (cdi) has 2 yellow wires. Is there a difference in how these are hooked up to the terminal board?
