If you trace the fuel line inside the cowl from the point where it enteres to the fuel pump..... then to the carbs..... see one? Then there probably is not one. Some had them and some did not but that would be the places to look.

Ok, I think I found the filter. It is a plastic inline piece that appears to be hollow. I'm guessing it is the holder that is missing an actual filter or the filter material has broken down? Any thoughts? Also, does anybody know what the part # is so that I can order one? Thanks again...
