Canopy headliner paint

The inside of my canopy is lined with a headliner. I assume it is a vinyl product and it looks like a burlap texture. Currently it is dark blue. I know the best thing would be to remove the canopy top and reline it. However I was wondering if anyone knew of a paint I could use to change it's color? The structure of the wood canopy supports are wood and relining it will require removing it. This will not be simple as the top of the canopy is covered in vinyl I am trying to save. (also the trim) The simple fix would be to paint it, but who said this stuff is simple.
Any ideas?

Re: Canopy headliner paint

most vinyl/acrylic paints will work on that.
