OMC 800 impeller change out

When removing the lower unit from the upper unit to access the impeller, are there any seals that separate the two units that need to be replaced before reassembling?

Looks like there are two kits available, only difference is one comes with the impeller housing and one does not. Do I really need to install a new housing?

There are no seals to replace as far as separating the lower and upper.
As for the kit with the housing goes, If the plate shows no scoring you are good to go with the impeller only.

Personally, I did the whole thing. Next time I will do the impeller only unless the situation dictates otherwise.

Make sure you grease the swivel bearing after it's back together.

Don S, Bondo...boomzzz.....c'mon. Need to order some parts, need the professionals on this one. Not much coming by way of search.
