1997 Yamaha 115 computer? and popet

New to Yamahas, does a '97 115hp have computer that tech can read info. from to find out why warning and power reduction is activating? Also where is water popet valve located.

Not that easy. You should have visual indicators for the oil warning. A water pressure guage and or heat guage are handy also.
The poppet valve is enclosed in the cover attached to the large hose near the bottom of the exhaust divider playe at the rear of the powerhead.

Thanks Ray, Checked popet first, was ok. Pulled thermostates and tested in pot of water one looked good, other only opened partially. Problem solved. By the way the boys at the Yamaha dealer told me they cut the back off the thermostates on there own motors, remove the spring and reinstall whats left so water flow isn't to much and they never worry about a bad thermo. I just removed the spring does the same thing.
